I decided I wanted to play the tenor saxophone when I was twenty-one so saved up and bought one

I was lucky enough to play and sing with the local youth jazz orchestra, and I discovered I liked improvisation more than reading: nothing much has changed! When embarking on an around the world trip, I acquired an alto to make life easier

I now sing and play saxophone in a number of bands playing big band music, funk, jazz and pop

The birth of SPLANKY encouraged me to pick up the soprano to play alongside my alto and tenor. I love all three!
